Spoglio del Luigi Bilio, 1849-1878.

The first busta contains materials concerning the First Vatican Council, including a document on papal infallibility. It also has some items dealing with the S. Romana ed Universalis Inquisizione, the Congregazione dei Vescovi e Regolari, the Propaganda Fide, and a number of monasteries for which he was protector. The second busta contains private and official correspondence from a variety of individuals--cardinals, prelates, priests, and the laity.
